BIOGRAPHY
Leser 1 is an industrial big beat producer, from Adelaide, South Australia, with a thirst for creating energetic and distorted sounds.
HISTORY
Growing up in the 90s, Leser’s love affair with experimentation and sound design began with testing out the tone bank of the next door neighbours’ Casio keyboard.
This continued through his school years when he would get in trouble for fishing through the keyboard tones rather than playing the allocated songs. Today, Blaise produces high-quality industrial breakbeat tracks from his home studio.
His style is rhythmic, dark, distorted and experimental with a strong influence from 90s breakbeat, electronica, hardcore and nu metal.
Leser continually develops and establishes his musical sound. To date, Leser’s signed EP releases include one under the Brazilian breakbeat label, Anarchy in the Funk as well as a joined-single release on the WeSpin record label, along side future jungle producers Digital Thought, entitled We Worship Beats; and his own self released EP. His goal is to spread his aggressive and gritty music as far and wide as possible, hoping to reach others with the same passion for twisted sounds and heavy breakbeats.
